Imagined worlds - London animatic

Here is my imagined worlds animatic. After we got the sounds I put them into adobe audition and sony vegas pro 14 to get my sounds.

Next I got my Photoshop file and broke it down to separate layers and rendered them as pngs. Then I could drag each layer into my premiere and edit from there.

Here is the timeline with most of the project at the back lower down on the timeline. As you can see the background and the buildings are separated but the drone does go lower down on the timeline. This is so the drone can go in front before and behind the building.

Here is the effect control for my drone, as you can see as it moves it also gets bigger as the scale also moves.

Here is the drone path. This shows the drones route and I could use this to edit as well as key frames.

Here is one of my beams for my drone, this was simply made using the rotate and a bit of positioning to move the beam.

Here is my clock tower. I edited the hand so it moved 360 degrees around, this did have some issues with the center point so I had to move some positioning. I also changed the opacity on the rings around the clock hands, one was blue one was pink and they fade out of each other to change color while still fading.

I also changed the glow of the moon like the rings it is feint but I still like it.

And here is my final animatic

In conclusion I am happy with what I created based on my final image, I have a lot more ideas for different imagined worlds such as a subway with trains and lights I would love to animate as I feel these block buildings didn't have as much potential. I think next time I would pick something more creative to show off more skills. As of this work I think that I would of liked the first drone to be less clunky on rotating round and it also could of gone behind the building too, I just felt like it would feel empty with both drones going around buildings ruining the novelty of the second one. The beams could of also been cleaner adding a glow to the buildings like my original piece.
