Colour Theory

In class this week we learnt about four different types of colour:
Analogous which is colours next to each other on the colour wheel.
Triadic which is colours equally distant from each other on the wheel.
Complementary which is colours directly opposite each other on the colour wheel.
Quadratic which is

This image is a peacock that follows the analogous colour scheme as it starts from blue which is adjacent to green then green will move to yellow which is also its closest colour. I chose this image because of the blue and the green and how they blend together nicely.

My next image is 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa' which follows the analogous colour scheme too as it goes from blue to salmon pink.

My final image is sunflowers that follow the complementary colour scheme as it starts blue and ends dark yellow which are opposite each other on the colour wheel which makes each colour stand out in a good way.
