This artwork has a range of bright colors which normally would indicate the piece to be very hectic, while a lot is going on in the scene the mood still looks very calm and relaxed. The girl on the bed is reading peacefully and her bed has many bright colors that make it very eye catching and the first thing you see. The deeper you look the more things you see that contrast the bed, in the background you see what I presume to be some kind of angler fish, this is very ominous but it doesn't take away from the calm mood because its shown to be outside. This piece follows the fantasy genre as there is an unknown creature behind the girl, this seems to be harmless as the girl isn't phased by it. The bed is floating on the water with fish swimming around large bubbles floating in the air to give more of an unreal feeling.

Jason Chan is well known for his vibrant works in games such as league of legends which usually has the fantasy element. The piece follows an analogous color scheme with the girls top and some of the pillows being a spring green close to the blue waters which do have a slight tint of green. The artwork is a 2 point perspective as it has an almost 3D view.

For the sound I think this image's environment would give off some deep ocean sounds in the background like a submarine radar that are muffled so they don't take primary focus this would be a non-diegetic noise as there is no submarine in the artwork at all. For the main sound of the environment there would be little splashes and the feint noise of running water, this would be diegetic due to the fish would be moving about making splashing noises.

The sound I think that would represent the mood of the image would be a feint guitar playing in the background, this would be non-diegetic because there is no guitar present in the scene, also I think a  stream like sound of water the water would be nice and it is also diegetic as it can be seen in the piece

overall I think that the sounds would be muffled or quiet because of the calmness of the piece never loud or taking over the presence

Our task this week was to do a story analysis on a movie of our choice. I decided to choose Baby Driver. Firstly we had to talk about the main character and give a brief detail about them and what happens to them in the story. Here I gave a summary of the story and how Baby changes throughout the story. Next we has to talk about the setting so I gave a short description on the modern day Atlanta and talked about how Baby spent his time there. For the second part we has to write about the different stages of the story and how the character develops from each stage. I also gave a description on what happens in the story at that point so you get a little bit of context about what made Baby feel the way he does and then in the next scene how hes changed. Maya coke bottle

This week I made a bottle in Maya starting off with a single cylinder where I gave 5 axis divisions making it more of a pentagon shape. Next I inserted a coke image plane to model off. Next I selected all of the bottom 5 faces and extruded them, then from here I could turn off the feature that keeps the faces together and then increase the offset to separate them. Next I changed from the rough cube model to a more smoothed model by pressing 2 on my keyboard this was go to swap between the views later on when making the bottle . After removing the top I could select edges and extrude, here I could add bends to make it look more like the bottle. For more detail and ways to bend the model I also inserted more edges using the multicut tool which I could then extrude and transform to my liking. Pass, Merit, Distinction

Bobby has a pass because he only used basic terminology and didn't use detail in order to get a merit. He had no spelling errors in the draft or the final thing, but the final thing was just the draft as he didn't edit it at all.  Rosie got a merit because she used generally correct terminology. In her draft she wrote many words wrong such as zombie "zombi" but she fixed these in her final, making her work a merit as well as explaining the nature and purpose. Zainab got a distinction for consistently using subject terminology correctly and also fixing lots of errors in his draft. In his draft he wrote you as "u" and also added a :) face at the end which is very unprofessional. He also went into massive detail to give him this grade. Mind Map
