Illustrator Car

Image
This week we started our car project where we had too make a car on illustrator. We got given a random hot wheels car that we aim to create in Maya in the future using new tools to make it the best model we can. Side view of the car  Back view                                             Front view                                     Top view   My car is a Nissan 370z so for my illustrator instead of just looking at the images I got a blueprint of the car and put it on illustrator. I made the side view of the car using the pen tool. Here you select two points then it creates a straight line that you can curve to make edges. We did this for the outside layer, then we made then inside details using a different layer and a third layer for the wheels. For the wheel ledges we used the circle shape tool and the shape merge tool to put the ridges with the base model. For my car I noticed that the wheels on the blueprint weren't the same as the ones on my hot

Synoptic project presentation

Here is my synoptic project idea as a power point presentation. My inspiration for the story was based on a classic fairy tale of the dog being the princess in trouble and the guy/girl being the knight to save them. Some of my creatures were inspired by Pokemon as there is over 800 so there is a lot of objects and materials that have been into creatures. This was a huge part of my project and I felt like making the creatures simple yet charming so they would be less time consuming too. In conclusion I think that my project had some faults but was achievable, while It didn't get chosen I think that we would be able to make it using time management and different skills on the team

This week we has to create a storyboard based on the prompt, Mine ended up being 12 shots long. Shot 1 - Establishing shot - here is the establishing shot where it shows all of the characters and the environment. Shot 2 - Medium shot - Here we cut to the man checking his watch with his red gloves, this is about 30 degrees from the first shit Shot 3 - Medium shot - Here is shot 3 with the mans phone vibrating and the directions showing instead of a small movement 30 or so degrees the next shot will move to over his shoulder Shot 4 - Over the shoulder - Next we go to the over the shoulder shot of the man missing the call because of his gloves. I also added the pan direction to show that the camera will pan to the teenager. Shot 5 - Medium shot - Here is the teenager on his phone while it is ringing. Shot 6 - Close up - The teenager tries to pick up the phone to no response. Shot 7 - Close up - the teenager tries to answer the phone with his nose
